 All of us, each individual and the society, always strive to progress, better our lives and add value to our human journey. Also ,each life is beset with several challenges including communications, relationships success, fame, wealth, health, death to name a few.

To know the future is the eternal human quest. To improve our future is also the very essence of human existence. Amidst the accelerating change, it is almost the most challenging of human efforts.

We want to make the correct choices and decisions for this purpose we all want to know more about the unknown future and its   various ways. It is here that Astrology or Jyotish emerges as one of the most important tools of Divination or to know the uncertain future.

With the astonishing scientific advances in the last century beginning with the Hubble telescope what we know for certain now is that the universe is actually a multi-verse and has several dimensions about which we know very little still. The cosmic cycles and patterns which are visible lead us to believe that there is an Astroverse in this set of Multiverses.

The expanding multiverses, billions of light years distant galaxies, the fixed stars and the moving planets of our Solar system interact with the flowing TIME or the Kaala to produce some likely answers.

In our humble way this is an effort to connect us all to the infiniteness of the Cosmos, the Superconsciousness of the Creator and the Supermind as envisaged by the seer, Shri Aurobindo.   

Who are we?

Why are we as we are?

Are we making the correct decisions?

What are the obstacles to our success?

Why don’t relationships form or sustain?

Can we find the right approach to understand what is about what is above particularly for me what is above particularly for my family? 

Can I find amongst the various threads, the right thread which defines me and allow me to do my best.

These and so many similar such questions give rise to anxiety and apprehensions. Where are these answers?

It is in this complex area that the most ancient craft of Astrology or Jyotish become relevant.

In Gita, Krishna says that he was “the Mrigshira of the months”. Thus establishing the ancientness of our time keeping and calendar linking to the celestial events. Jyotish is a part of the six vedangas which are almost as old as the shruti of the Vedas. Along with, shiksha, Chanda, vyakaran, nirukt and kalpa, Jyotish forms the integral part of communicating the wisdom and knowledge of Vedas. It gets an importance just like the language constructing divine thoughts flowing from human knowledge. The necessity of understanding ‘’kaala’’ brought about jyotish or astrology. The flow of time is best described as

‘’Kaalo Ashvatah vahti”

कालो अश्वतः वहति

Time flies like a horse.

The measurement of time from its most early times is through timing events up above in the sky. 

The Charaka Sanhita, which is an ancient treatise speaking of human health, wellness and happiness and also the origin of Ayurveda says:

Yatha brahmande tatha pinde

यथा  ब्रह्माण्डे  तथा  पिंडे

“As is the Universe, so is the body”

Separately, most civilizations and cultures came to similar conclusions, be it the Greek, Latin, Mayan, Chinese or the Arabic.

A known Latin quote ascribed from a cryptic hermetic text proclaims:

                          Quod est superis est sicut quod inferius

Meaning simply,                                                                           “As above, so below”

Even the Greek linkages of the Macrocosm to the Microcosm is similar. Obviously, the ability to observe events in the Skies, Fixed Stars, and Moving Planets and find patterns in terrestrial events, in human lives is as old as the civilization itself.

 Since then, our calculations regarding the stars and grahas have become incredibly faster. Our time accuracy has increased tremendously. New algorithms and new cause and effect paradigms have emerged. The present Jyotish is exciting with improving accuracy.

Jyotish has a caveat, a warning that its effect gets changed along with ‘Desh, Kaal, Patra.’  ‘’ देश काल पात्र’’

Thereby implying that the current social and cultural milieu, the  particular individual will have to be taken into account before interpreting the energy of the grahas, the planets or the stars. It is this Jyotisha which we want you to introduce into.

Since each individual is unique and so is each moment of time, therefore the answers for each individual have to be unique too. This makes jyotish difficult and more complex.

However, there are intricate patterns of the energies which are able to give the likely answers provided we navigate through the maze of astro symbols and their interpretations.

And while developing this amazing knowledge, if we can add on the intuition seeking the light from within often we find such accurate predictions of future that cannot be explained at all.

While, there may be just a few in millions having this accuracy , most of us , with adequate awareness of rules and the cycles, find simple answers for our own purpose. To understand oneself through the jyotish lens, to know our strength and weaknesses, to find the direction and approach where our efforts will bear the best results.

This awareness can and will empower you to move forward with a lot of confidence. We are aware that in human lives, destiny plays a significant role.

What is my destiny?

What efforts I need to unlock the potential of my destiny?

What I cannot change and need to accept with serenity?

How do free will, human efforts and destiny interact is another fascinating facet of life which Jyotish has been able to partially unravel.

Such is the infinite beauty of astrology that over millenniums, it has only got more fascinating as a divinatory tool for understanding human lives and the future at large.
